The CICA Vancouver Emerging to Mid-Career Art Awards Exhibition 2025 is a juried group exhibition celebrating outstanding emerging and mid-career visual artists across disciplines. Centred around expanding contemporary dialogues, this two-part group exhibition presents world that explore the intersection of personal histories and collective reali-ties, offering diverse perspectives on urgent theme : politics and bound-aries, identity and memory, technology and the human condition.
Visitors are invited to reflect on how artists from different cultural and geographic contexts approach shared questions: What does belonging mean in a world shaped by migration and boundaries? How does technology reshape our sense of intimacy and selfhood? What can memory create within us—a fantasy, a journey of self-exploration, or a shift in roles and identity?
Spanning painting, sculpture, video, and installation, the exhibition underscores art's capacity to act as both mirror and provocation. It invites audiences to step into a conversation that extends beyond the gallery walls.
